My reading would be that finding "X gold" during a scenario is simply that amount of gold and would not be further converted.

That means there are lots of bad guys around in every scenario! When I played the Mindthief we already had a healer and a ranged damage dealer, so the melee damage Mindthief made the most sense for me. A melee glass cannon is an unusual character build.
Kudos to the Gloomhaven designers for trying something different with the Mindthief! Oh, no. You are one of the fastest starting classes in Gloomhaven, which means you can dash in and whack enemies and dash out again before they even have a chance to hit you! Use your high initiative cards to go late on turn one, so the bad guys have already had their turn before you rush in and hit them.
Then, go early on turn 2 so that you can hit them again before rushing off. Card initiatives are really important with this strategy, but so is having ample movement cards in your hand, ideally with Jump. The last thing you want is to be trapped behind a bunch of enemies! But you have other tricks up your sleeve! Use Stun and Immobilize to prevent your closest threats from doing any damage on their turn.
A stunned enemy is a peaceful enemy! I really like the Mindthief Augments, because they allow you to build the character according to how you want to play. You could take along two or more Augments, so you can change your playstyle depending on what comes up in the scenario.
In some groups, that may be exactly what you want, you may need that versatility. At later levels, we may pick up another Augment to support our build. There are no good or bad cards in Gloomhaven. For this Mindthief build, I looked for cards that offered:. The Mindthief has 29 cards available in her entire deck from level 1 to 9.
A unique card to the Mindthief is the Augment card. There are 8 Augments in the Mindthief deck. Like the other Gloomhaven starting classes, at level 1 you have the same number of cards as your hand limit so you can just grab those cards and go if you want to dive into the character. A glorious high attack with other bonuses that this build loves — Disarm and Create Ice.

Coordinate clues will only appear in Treasure Trails of medium or hard difficulty. Coordinate clues may take players all over RuneScapeto nearly any geographic region in the game including the deepest levels of the Wildernessalthough coordinate clues will never point players underground or into dungeons or buildings. The coordinates are presented in the following format:.
In RuneScapeone square of space is roughly equivalent to two minutes exactly 1. As there are sixty minutes in a degree, each degree is roughly equivalent to thirty-two squares. Note: The above location is the exact centre of the Observatory and is not actually a coordinate clue location.
Prior to the clue scroll update, after receiving a coordinate clue players were required to locate the exact position more precisely, the exact square that the clue scroll indicates. This was accomplished by having a chartsextant and watch in your inventory and right-clicking on a sextant to display an interface to determine your exact coordinates. The chart, sextant, and watch were, in later years, added to the tool belt.
After the clue scroll update, the sextant interface was removed and replaced with a player animation and a re-display of the coordinates required. To use a sextant in the tool belt, right click on a coordinate clue scroll and choose the sextant option. A tool belt spade can be used by right-clicking the clue scroll and selecting Dig.
A meerkats pouch is a summoning pouch used to summon meerkats. Meerkats can be interacted with to provide sextant coordinates. When the appropriate coordinate is located, a fetch casket scroll enables the use of the meerkat's special move Fetch Casket to dig for a coordinate, compass, or scan clue without triggering an attack from a Saradomin, Guthix, Zamorak wizard, Cabbagemancer, Bandosian wild mage, or Armadylean shaman.
Digging up a clue box without using a fetch casket scroll will not work. Meerkat pouches and fetch casket scrolls are possible rewards from any Treasure Trails and cannot be made by players. For hard Treasure Trails, digging on the correct spot will cause a level 70 Zamorak wizard or a level 98 Saradomin wizard to appear, which must be defeated before the next clue scroll or the treasure casket may be dug up.
Zamorak wizards use only magic, attacking with Flames of Zamorak. The Saradomin wizard uses Air Surge and Saradomin Strikeand can also use a dragon dagger special attack with a high chance to cause poison.
The wizards have no weakness so any combat style can be used to dispatch them effectively. Players who use the special ability of meerkats to dig for the scroll or casket will receive it mitigating the need to fight a Zamorak or Saradomin wizard.

These Gloomhaven tokens are custom designed and 3D printed to incorporate the games cardboard tokens. The door tokens slide in and out to represent a closed and open door. The treasure chest token comes off once it has been looted to show an empty treasure chest. Investigating some leads from 2, found the Crypt of the Damned. Demons, demons everywhere. Chased by the spirits bound by them, we managed to kill all the demons. And get some treasure! Following up on some leads on an enchantress who could scry on Jekserah's location, we went to the Crooked Bone and met Hail. She's less than pleasant and definitely odd. She says she needs an orb before she can do much of anything.
So we trek to the Frozen Hollow, klll a bunch of things, and get the Orb.
We bring it back and it turns out she can use it to give us cool powers. But the spellwork requires a crazy amount of gold After running some errands in town, we returned to Hail to gather the information on Jekserah. Hail then informed us she needed bitterroot for her scrying spell, a rare and expensive herb. Thankfully she knows where we can get some.
There we discovered Forest Imps are pain and Cave Bears are really, really surprisingly fast. We managed to gather bitterroot and run. Necromancer's Sanctum 20 H Deep in Corpsewoods.
